The O&W heater cars were built from tenders retrieved from scrapped Bullmoose or Y-2 steam engines. The Rapido model is not – was not – I think intended to represent itself as an accurate model, but rather to be a somewhat whimsical addition to paint schemes of a heater car used on Canadian Roads.
